Our Behavioral Approach

Autism Answers use The Son-Rise Program® Philosophy to help children and families build positive relationships. We create a safe, distraction-free play area that facilitates optimal environment for learning and growth. We utilize the child’s own motivation to advance learning and to build the foundation for educational & skill acquisition. Joining the child in their isolated behavior to build rapport with the child, deepens their connection to others, and allows you to better understand why they do a particular action. It is the doorway to them showing us the way in, so we can show them the way out! In our experience, children have responded positively every time we have joined them. Teaching through interactive play results in effective meaningful socialization and communication.

The Son-Rise Program®

ABA is Applied Behavioral Analysis

We also provide a non-traditional method to ABA, by using the science of ABA and the beneficial modality of the Son-Rise program to execute an extremely effective therapy method. This service is supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We provide specially trained staff called ABA Tutors that provided hourly therapy and receive at least bi-monthly supervision.  This program is currently funded under one insurance company, Tricare ECHO Demonstration Project. So if you have Tricare, are registered with Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) and Tricare ECHO, you are eligible for this program. All others are private pay fee for service.

Psychological Evaluations

Do you want a diagnosis, or to know if your child has autism or not?  Well, you don’t have to get on a 18 month waiting list! Autism Answers has a psychologist available to do testing, evaluations and family therapy as needed. Our waiting list is usually less than a month.  You will receive a written report of the evaluation. This service is a Medicaid billable service, so there is no fee for children on Medicaid.
